I have a passion for beauty in all that surrounds me, whether it be fashion, beauty, crafts, baking, or home organization.

Real Life Fashion...
I once was a personal wardrobe consultant and stylist (yes, there is such a thing) and after that I found myself in retail styling customers. I am just a woman who believes in affordable, accessible, real-life fashion and helping women feel confident in their skin and therefore in their clothes. Through my previous experience in fashion I have a talent for knowing women's sizes just by looking at them (don't tell my friends, most women would very much dislike hanging around me for this reason) and knowing what styles/shapes look great on specific body types. This blog is a means of striking a dialog between you and me to discuss your closet, your body, and what clothing makes you feel your best.

Beauty...
Years ago I was a competition dancer who was required to wear what felt like pounds of makeup upon my face every weekend. Thank goodness that period of my life has come and passed. However, it did teach me how to apply makeup. Only recently have I ventured into the world of 'playing' with makeup and 'perfecting' <i>my<i> beauty routine. Honestly, I believe more in skin care than in makeup. Chances are if you ask me for concealer tips I will follow it up with skincare tips and then suggest my favorite concealer. I try to be proactive!

Crafts...
Thank goodness for Pinterest, because without it, there would be very little crafting going on over here. The good news is that I never {for some reason} follow any tutorial to the 'T'. I have a talent for changing things up and trying something new. Sometimes it's successful and sometimes it isn't. Regardless, I will share it here with you all! I will say that I typically only tackle and complete 'helpful' crafts which means they are more than just beautiful, but they also serve a purpose. That my friends is a 2-for-1!

Baking...
Just as I mentioned above, I never follow any tutorial to the 'T' and the same follows for recipes. This can either result in something awesome or something less than stellar and leaving me saying 'why can't i just follow the recipe?!'. Needless to say it's always an adventure in my kitchen!

Home Organization...
While growing up, my mother had her own business as a professional organizer. Need I say more? By no means am I as good as her, but I do strive to have an organized home with little clutter, but a home that stays clutter-free with the least amount of effort. This my friends, is a challenge. As lives evolve and homes evolve, I find that home organization is something that changes and needs to evolve as well. It takes time and effort and money but some of my OCD tendencies need it to survive and I shall show you my favorite organizing techniques along the way and I hope you will share yours with me!
